We Never Choose Where We are Born!!

She was standing close. Just behind the door which was partially open. She was holding a broom and was viewing all those inside. Students with bags and books. Her mistress called and she broke out of reverie and rushed downstairs to listen what it was and forgot.

He was clinging to his father's shirt as his father cleaned the road. His usual task. It was done early today because the city was struck with sand storm and the dust was ruining the well maintained look of the society so Union head asked him to do it early morning.
The child looked here and there, his forehead already glistening with sweat as the sun slowly ascended. The road was long! He was wiping his forehead with tiny little hands of his when the door of the house just in front of him opened. A man dressed in formal wear approached, wearing sun glasses, hastily searching his pockets for keys followed by a toddler about his age wearing jeans and shirt. The boy looked back and waved Good Bye then ran to the car, front door already opened for by his dad. The boy sat in the car and his dad set his hair with his hands and then quickly closed the door and moved towards the driving seat and drove off. To where?
The little boy unintentionally straighten his disheveled, greasy hair...

He was in despair. His throat ached after chanting at the top pitch to attract the interest of people walking past by his stall. One or two stopped, their eye went through the arranged items and then quickly walked away. The day is ending, he haven't sold a single thing or earned a single penny and he promised his two year old daughter to get her something when he came back from work.

The 14 years old selling the plastic toy and balloons in the market saw a boy crying. He was then comforted by an elderly man, who took him up to a store and bought him candy. He shook his head and quickly walked to the other side where there were more people, in hope to sale enough toys and balloons to get a new shirt for his little brother.

P.S it is not always us who decide the course of our lives. Some are born less fortunate paying the price of sins they never committed.

    1. We must all look around us and do what is in our reach and potential to help the less privileged ones. Help is not always financial. Take for example the girl who wants to study, the tutor may offer to teach her an hour daily after her work so she can also pursue her dreams. No one should feel left behind.
But no one thinks that way we are all caught up in the mess of our own to get out and think outside the box.
