Tonight!

If like those crumpled leaves,
My existence wither before your sight,
Will it be any different dawn
for you, if I die tonight?

Like autumn persists for long in hearts,
But then the love of spring delights,
And they forget of those russet leaves,
In the wake of spring that died!

So will you cherish me, or not at all?
Will my absence be felt in your life?
The answers to all lie far beyond
life, so if I die tonight??
